Ignite Hockey & Toby Petersen
Ignite Hockey is proud to partner with Toby Petersen. Toby is a former NHL player and AHL player/coach. From his first days on the ice as a mini-mite (1983 in Minnesota) to his final game as a player with the Texas Stars (2014 in Austin), Toby has accumulated countless hours of experience. After playing in 1,037 NHL and AHL games over 14 seasons, Toby and his family decided the time had come to start writing a new chapter. He continued displaying his passion for the game by coaching a new wave of NHL prospects in the American Hockey League (AHL) from 2014-2020. Toby is entering his third season as the Colorado Avalanche skills coach.
All these experiences – good, bad, and in between – have proven to be vital in developing his players’ potential into realized skills.
Camp Details
Themes that skaters will focus on:
-overspeed skating
-stickhandling
-deception with puck
-puck protection principles and form
-angling
-wall play
-playing through contact
-O-Zone footwork (D/F)

This high level program is appropriate for birthyears 2005-2012.
Our goal is to maximize reps for each and every skater. This camp will be maxed out at 10 skaters!

Costs
Cost to attend this specialty clinic is $500 per skater.
